Directions

Our building is just off Bells Ferry Road between Highway 92 and Eagle Drive.

Going North on Bells Ferry Road from Highway 92, go through the next stop light and look for a small industrial area on your right. There will be an auto repair shop (Towne Lake Collision Center) on the right. Turn right at this street and continue around behind Williams Bros. Lumber Yard. Our building is on the right and has Cherokee Batting Range in big letters on the building.

If going south on Bells Ferry, there is a stop light at Eagle Drive with a gas station on each side of the intersection. This is where the new Towne Lake Walmart is located. Continue south until you see an industrial area on your left (second left and Bells Ferry has a median at this point). There is a strip office building and Williams Bros Lumber Yard that you will see first. Turn left at this street and continue around behind Williams Bros. Lumber Yard. Our building is on the left and has Cherokee Batting Range in big letters on the building.

Baseball Instructor

John Kokotajlo has joined our staff as a baseball instructor. He finished his collegiate career with Kennesaw State University and has continued playing professionally. His specialty will be fielding and hitting.

New Baseball Instructor

Jody Samples is now available for baseball lessons on the weekends. Coach Samples was a standout high school player in Cherokee County, very successful college player and played professionally. He currently is a scout for the Reds.

All-County Teams

Cherokee's students had a great high school fastpitch season. A total of 21 of our students were named to either the Cherokee or Cobb County All-County teams. In addition to these, there were several from other counties that received similar awards. Congratulations to all of these players for their hard work.

2007 GHSA Fastpitch Playoffs

Congratulations to the participants in the 2007 Georgia High School Fastpitch Playoffs. Cherokee Batting is proud that more than 50 of our students from more than 14 high schools participated. Two of these teams won State Championships and one was Runner-Up. Our coaches enjoyed sharing their excitement as they squeezed in lessons during the high school season and playoff run.

New Baseball Instructor

Bob Roman, Kennesaw State University Director of Baseball Operations, has joined our staff as a baseball instructor. He has 16 years of baseball teaching and coaching experience and is now available for lessons.
